im too lazy to tell everyone so if you do bother reading, firstly, i applied for exchange to Japan. results are not out yet so its not like im flying there. second, thou its not confirmed, i got myself a japanese handphone. its uber pretty, at least by my standards. everyone says its huge but i like it big so who cares. i didnt buy it for i think im gg Japan, i got it cos i like clamshells and there isnt a single decent one in Singapore. its either e specs are gd n it looks ugly or freaking wide (mine's just long) or it looks kind of pretty but the specs are so-so. it doesnt work with GPS and 3G and wifi... but have you seen me using any of that? only problem now is, its freaking difficult to navigate cos im so not used to it. i have 596 pages of manual to go thru before i become a pro at this. haha. ok end of story and CNY is coming!!! gain more karma people =]]

and this is probably the most exciting dream of the year.

it starts off with... a dream in a dream. to make it sound easier, i'll talk about the dream in the dream.

its set in this residential area(only landed property) and the streets were all quiet and empty in the day. theres 6 people, me, chris, an honest female colleague, 2 accomplice and a guy whos gg to pay the ransom. other than that guy, we're all cops and our job's just to find the criminal but like i mentioned accomplice, theres sth interesting coming up. first, we were walking towards some place to pay the ransom and we were following the guy but the honest female stayed at the starting point to spy around, tt leaves 5 of us. chris was super determined and kept a (really) CLOSE watch on the guy. HOWEVER, somehow i was in need of money so i was actually part of this whole scam but while walking, i was still contemplating because its against my conscience and ethics of a cop. we wanted to get him off the case but no harm intended, just to make him lose the guy but hes seriously persistent so when we were at this corner, i was going to draw out my gun to threaten/scare him so that he'll stop following. at this moment, a flashback appeared. it was long ago when we made a pact that we'll be great buddies and not harm each other ever. (you know, like those scenes you always see in hk movies, i think we watched too much and we kept calling each other bro/sis haha. so its sth like JIE2 BAI4. there werent any real TAI2 CI2 involved but in dreams you just get the feeling.) back to reality, i really didnt want to kill him but the moment he saw me draw my gun, he took his out and did a chow yun fatt stunt(i duno wats tt but sth they do in the movies too, when they draw out their guns) and shot me in my right shoulder. (in my both dreams, i felt my shoulder ache.) then its e flashback of the scene we made e pact again. i could have shot him back cos i wasnt paralysed or feeling any sharp pain(and so in my dream's dream, i thought being shot isnt so much of a big deal. CHOI CHOI CHOI.) but theres no pt since i didnt want to shoot him in the first place n the flashback came.

so i woke upafter tt(frm e dream's dream) n i felt e shoulder ache so i told my bro cos hes e first person i saw in my dream after i woke up. then i saw chris so i told him abt it too. but after a while, i kind of realised tt tt was a dream too so i realised i haven actually told chris anything in reality(ya all this cognitive processes happening in my dream) so i told myself when i wake up i'll tell him. (and so i did) and when i woke up(from the dream), i was sure i felt e shoulder ache too.

HAPPY 2009! I dont know whats so happy about a new year though, i kind of dont get it anymore, just how I dont feel the xmas atmosphere anymore in the recent years. anyhow, met up wif pkl and ruoying this morning. like really EARY morning at 10am. we, the smartasses, were all late. haha. ended up i was earliest so i guess this is a good sign to me getting more punctual. KFC breakfast is soso~ i liked their porridge more, too bad they dont have it anymore. and then we watched 7 pounds. what a show. it looks like its got a good plot and great suspense but no, its draggy, slow, kind of irritating cos for 75% of the time, you seriously don't know why is he doing all that. at first i tot he was gg to kill ppl. then i tot he had a premonition like in EARLY EDITION with this newspaper article for '7 ppl killed' so maybe he wants to see if he shd save them. afterwards, i concluded that he wants to leave his assessts for 7 ppl. and then u think hes got a terminal disease. finally, you see the REAL TRUTH they keep showing in the trailers. its erm... rather simple. well, its v nice of him thou but it cld have been better. Fracture's still the best suspense EVER!

i went to 2 THEFACESHOPs and each time, the cashier will say 'kamsahamnida' after i pay. first time i was real shocked and she said it real quickly and didnt really articulate well so i didnt really catch what she was saying. 2nd time, this girl said it clearly and then i was just thinking "so am i suppose to reply her in korean?" its such an odd feeling. ruoying thinks i shd try, cos they probably only know that line and 'annyonghaseyo' so they'll prob be stunned if i reply in korean. haha.
